Coalescing Filter
Coalescing Filter with Pre filter is the most efficient unit designed for applications where the delivered air must be free of oil and all fine foreign particles. The coalescing element is capable of entrapping 1 micron size particles. Effective Filtration with low pressure drop makes this unit ideal for applications where flow do not exceed 20 SCFM at 100 PSIG.

Pre filter is standard design with centrifuge and residual separation & 25 micron filter element.

Typical applications are Air Gauges, instrumen- tation, food beverage packing, metallizing, Mirror silvering, Pharmaceuticals etc.

Activated Carbon Filter
Activated carbon filter connected to the pre-filter is used to absorb oil vapor particles present in the compressed air. The activated carbon filter absorbs oil vapor particles less than 5 PPM Activated carbon filters provides oil free Air for industrial applications like Painting, Varnishing, Lacquering, Air gauging units, Powder coating units, etc.

Highpressure Air Filter
This filter is ideally suitable for high-pressure (upto 40 kg/cm2 ) installations. Pneumatic operated equipment will operate efficiently for prolonged period if compressed air used is free from moisture, oil and solid dirt. Use of high-pressure filter will serve this purpose.

SPECIFICATIONS

3" Filter
3" Filter are specially designed to handle high flow applications. These filters remove mois- ture, oil and solid dirt from the compressed air.

Filtration by cyclone separation and residual separation produce "Clean Air" for all practical purposes with minimum pressure drop. These filters are popularly used in sets of two. The pre filter (first) consists of 25 micron sintered bronze/Plastic filter element, and the after-filter (Second) consist of 5 micron Sintered bronze / Plastic filter element. The air after passing through these filters is suitable for operating pneumatic items like jets in texturising units.

All aluminum body construction with metal bowl and seals of nitrile make this filter unit light in weight. Suitable for Max. Pressure of 250 PSI (18 kg/cm2). Quick accessibility for maintenance purpose, rugged and sturdy construction and easy availability of spares make this a versatile unit.

Ultra Clean Filter Set
Compressed air coming from the compressor tank is contaminated with dirt, oil and moisture. For general use of compressed air, filters are used to remove these contaminations. Air coming out of these filters is "Clean Air" for all general purpose applications. But there are some applications like powder coating, which require high filtering efficiency than the one obtained in filters. To get this high filtering efficiency, RAICO has specially designed a filter set, named "Ultra Clean Filter".

Auto Drain
RAICO's Auto Drain is designed for automatic condensate removal from compressed air system.

Auto Drain eliminates problem found in ordinary float or Piston operated designs. A simple disc is used with no linkage or close fitting parts, positive action of disc assures reliable condensate removal with minimum loss of air.

Intermittent discharge atomizes condensate to avoid messy accumulations produced by other devices.

The system consists of S.S. discharge capsule ejecting condensate at a fixed time interval of 10 to 20 seconds initially, which will gradually set itself to 1-minute cycle. This will eliminate risk of either constant leak or jammed discharge lines due to clogged up pilot lines found in other designs.

Unit comes with standard tapping and can be screwed on to our standard filter and filter regulator units. This unit can be independently used on air installations to remove condensate from Headers, Drip legs, Dripwell, Air Dryer, Receiver and similar fittings. Tapping to suit these fittings can be provided.

Only maintenance required is cleaning of valve disc by soft tissue paper to remove dirt when erratic functioning of unit occurs.

D-Series

RAICO has developed a filter set specifically for dentists. RAICO'S "D-series" filter set is very effective in removing these impurities. "D-series" filter set consists of a prefilter connected to an activated carbon filter.

The prefilter consists of a 5-micron filter element, which filters dirt particles 5 microns above in size. Double action filtration by cyclone separation and residual separation facilitates maximum removal of condensate from the compressed air.

Air after passing through prefilter goes to activated carbon filter. Here, oil vapor and other gases dispersed in the compressed air are absorbed by the activated carbon element. Thereafter the air is filtered down to 1 micron by the special filter media, resulting in 100% oil free air. The air quality from these filter set is ideal for dental use.

The filter comes along with a mounting bracket on which the filter set is mounted. This eliminates the cumbersome mounting arrangement on wall and gives complete flexibility with regard to the placement of the filter set. The filter set is provided with a pressure regulator on the outlet for better regulation of pressure. A "ON-OFF" valve is provided at the inlet of filter. The bowls of the filter set are fitted with a bowl guard for extra safety. Aesthetically good-looking D-series filter set enhances the look of the dentist's clinic.

The body of filter is made from extruded aluminum, bowls are made from shatterproof polycarbonate and seals are of nitrile. The connection size of this filter assembly is ¼" BSP (F). Other sizes available on request.
